S&P, Moody’s and Fitch improved their negative forecasts for credits, but there are still numerous negative indicators.
According to official information, negative forecasts for credits were reduced for more than 100 countries of the world in 2019. However, the number of negative indicators still exceeds the number of positive ones.
The credit rating of countries is calculated based on the assessment of the risks of investments in the infrastructure. Based on the indicator, it is possible to assess how ready the state is to be liable for its debts. Usually, the rating of the countries is taken into account by large investors who adopt decisions on the feasibility of investments into the enterprise or a state sector.
